Masibulele Hlazo is a native of Nyanga East in Cape Town, South Africa, where he continues to serve the same community he was raised in. Known as a true man of the people, Masibulele has deep roots within the community and comes from a family of activism, with his father playing a respected role in local community advocacy and change.
What began as a simple conversation with the founder in August 2024 has since grown into one of the organization’s strongest and most impactful chapters, with Masibulele working hand in hand with her to build the South Africa chapter of Just a Little Helps from the ground up. From an initial 40 bag food drop to large scale community outreach efforts, emotional intelligence initiatives, youth programs, and grassroots support throughout Nyanga, Masibulele has become both the heart of the local outreach efforts and one of the founder’s closest and most trusted partners within the organization.
Sebastian Croeser is passionate about human connection, and creating meaningful change through service to others. Growing up in a more privileged environment in South Africa gave him a strong awareness of the social and economic divide that exists between communities, inspiring him to become actively involved in supporting underserved areas throughout Cape Town.
After connecting with the founder and the organization’s mission, Sebastian joined the South Africa chapter and has since played a vital role in food parcel distributions, emotional intelligence classes for youth, and outreach initiatives throughout Nyanga East and surrounding areas. Much like the founder, Sebastian’s commitment to serving communities outside of his own background speaks volumes about the kind of character and compassion that drives the organization forward.
